Rothco ECWCS Gen III Mid-Weight Underwear Top (Level II)

I have both synthetic and merino base layer shirts and they are excellent. This 2nd layer shirt is perfect over them, to give significantly more warmth. The material is quilt-like, 1/4" squares of micro-fleece ~20 mils thick. Roomy cut, light weight, proof against a light breeze. I have two, 1 True-Spec, one Rothco (~ equal quality) will likely get more.

This shirt is simple, warm, and fantastic!

I bought these for two very active grandson outdoorsmen, 13 and 12 years old. The adult small was large on them but both will grow into this layering garment. The product was well made, stitching was perfect, and they were warm, a recommended piece of clothing!

I got this waffle shirt for my son bc he works on projects at home all winter! He loves this! He had one from years ago and swears it's the warmest material and he's free the move freely on his projects!

Note: Yes, Wearing them now.The 2x was the right size choice lots of move/room . The Material is Interesting,very different from my Thinsulate Heavy's I've been wearing for .....37 years,no lie.
Very comfortable/Light and nice in the Bag at night.No Overheating.Looking forward to future purchases
