How bulk ordering works
- Send your request. Email cs@militaryuniformsupply.com or call or text 309-346-1130. Include:
- Items (product links or names), quantities and sizes
- For name tapes: a list of names, branch, pattern (for example 3-color OCP) and backing (sew-on or hook)
- The date you need everything by
- Ship-to address or addresses
- Whether your organization is tax-exempt
- Get your quote. We’ll send a written quote with volume pricing, usually within 2–4 business days.
- Approve and pay. We accept credit cards and government purchase cards (GPC — issued on the Visa or Mastercard network, so no separate setup is needed). We prefer payment upfront, but purchase orders or net terms may be available case-by-case for established organizations — just ask.
- We produce and ship. Turnaround depends on what you’re ordering — we’ll confirm a firm ship date with your quote:
- General merchandise (Rothco, Propper and similar brands): typically 2–5 business days
- Name tapes and name tags: typically 4–6 business days
- Patches: ordered from our patch supplier and typically take 7–9 weeks — we recommend building this into your timeline, especially for date-sensitive orders
- Reenactment gear: 1–2 business days if in stock, otherwise 1–2 months
- Other in-stock items ordered in bulk quantities: typically 3–5 business days, since large quantities aren’t always on hand
- Track your order. You’ll get tracking by email as soon as your order ships.
Volume pricing
Bulk orders get quantity-based pricing, and what counts as “bulk” depends on the item. Higher-priced gear (like flight jackets) may qualify for a discount at a smaller quantity, while lower-cost items like patches typically need a larger quantity to see bulk pricing. Send us your list and quantities and we’ll price it out based on what you’re ordering.
Tips for name tape orders
- Send names in a spreadsheet with one row per person: last name, branch tape, pattern, backing and quantity.
- Double-check spelling before approving your quote. Name tapes are made exactly as submitted.

Tax-exempt and government purchases
Tax-exempt organizations, please email a copy of your tax-exemption certificate before we invoice so tax can be removed from your order.
Shipping
We ship with UPS or USPS, choosing the best service for each order. We offer low-rate shipping within the continental United States. Bulk order FAQs
Is there a minimum for bulk pricing?
There’s no single minimum — it depends on the item. Higher-priced gear like flight jackets may qualify for a discount at a smaller quantity, while lower-cost items like patches typically need a larger quantity. Smaller orders can always be placed directly on our website.
How long do bulk name tapes take?
Name tapes and name tags are typically produced within 4–6 business days. For very large rosters, we’ll confirm a ship date with your quote.
Can you mix items from different categories on one quote?
Yes. Uniforms, name tapes, patches and accessories can all go on one quote and ship together once everything is ready.
Do you work with JROTC and ROTC programs?
Yes. We regularly supply name tapes, insignia and uniform items for cadet programs. Send us your cadet roster and item list for a quote.
Can I return bulk or personalized items?
Personalized items (such as name tapes) are made to order and are not returnable unless there is an error on our part. Non-personalized bulk items may be returned, but must go through our customer service team directly rather than our standard online return portal — email us before sending anything back, as a restocking fee may apply. Non-bulk orders follow our standard 45-day return policy.
